MERCEDES CERÓN, is a architecture studio focused on creating opportunities for alternative discourses to be developed in close relationship with other disciplines. All together, exploring contemporary notions of tailor-made spacial, lighting and furniture design, making use of traditional craftsmanship and sustainable practices.

Mercedes lives between Lisbon and Madrid.

Graduated in Architecture and Graphic Design, since student joined the experience of practicing in several architecture studios and that after the academic conclusion led her to create the architecture studio of her own and work in partnership with other architects and several entities. After a period of development of heritage management projects, she decided to strengthen his professional career in the scenic component. Back to a past participation in the arts panorama in Lisbon, in May 2019 reactivates his presence as a founder of the art gallery NAVE in Principe Real, where she promotes the exhibition of contemporary and multidisciplinary artistic combinations in an author framework, in the national and international panorama. Since ever Mercedes has been spending most of his time in Lisbon, working on a few solo architecture projects and collaborating with designers and other talented professionals and highly focused on the local and quality craftsmanship.
